What is Money Scarcity?

What is the benefit to promoting money scarcity?  Why are people trying to use, “The Secret”, to magically produce money out of thin air, (like the government)?

Flemming Funch wrote a small article to illuminate the answer to this question  Thank you Mr, Funch.

The Scarcity Money

by Flemming Funch, 3 December 1994.

The mechanics of how money actually works are hidden away by making it look really complicated. But, in its simplicity, money is created out of thin air, mainly by national banks, and loaned out. And then people circulate around the paper and the symbols that were ‘loaned out’. The banks don’t really need anything to secure the money that is created, except for some other money, created in the same way, or debt certificates saying that one will pay something back later.

The current system is that one makes more money by making one’s services scarce. The main focus is usually not the needs that need to be filled, or the actual results and benefits, but rather a need for profit, in terms of dollar amounts in the bank.

A New Mind Set Is Needed

The false belief we perpetuate like such as  there isn’t enough money, toys, assets, stuff, etc…to go around is diving us insane!  This lack of money mind paradigm is literally the engine that feeds our fears about how much we do not have.  Our culture, global businesses and educational systems all support this illusion of lack especially when it comes to money.

Our biggest obstacle to having money is our mind set about money.

What do you think would happen if we all started to learn another way to be, work and learn in our society?

In this new mind shift, we think only of the abundance of money, instead of lack.  Would this simple way of looking at money change the world to the better?  You can bet your life on it!!

The late John Lennon wrote a song about this on his album, “Imagine”.

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world…

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one
